Welcome to the Student Handbook

Peter_thumbDear friend:

As you begin reading this Wagner Leadership Institute Student Handbook, I want to offer my word of welcome and encouragement to you. As you will see, we are offering you a program for training for practical ministry that is one-of-a-kind. Our generation is personally witnessing the most radical change in the way of doing church since the Protestant Reformation. We at WLI are convinced that the old wineskins of training for ministry and church leadership will not carry us to the new levels that God is assigning to His people.

Here is a school that is tailored to your needs if you are a mature, ministering Christian. We have eliminated several traditional hoops such as academic requirement for admission, examinations, and grades for courses. Our emphasis is not so much on the transmission of information from teacher to student as it is on impartation of anointing for ministry. In a typical course of 14- 15 hours, you will be in first hand contact with some of North America's most successful apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. In each course you not only receive practical content, but you receive personalized ministry as the Holy Spirit leads.

Furthermore, you work towards advance diplomas on associate, bachelor, master and doctorate levels. You will be placed in your initial program on the basis of your age, maturity, training and experience in ministry. You can go at your own speed, even taking up to 50% of each program in your home through our home-based study program. Pastors and staff people will especially benefit from the credentials offered by WLI , and volunteer workers will find that the spiritual gifts which God has given them will be sharpened so that their effectiveness in helping to advance the kingdom of God will reach levels that they could not have imagined.

I hope to see you as a WLI student, and I encourage you to tell your friends about this exciting educational opportunity. C.
