"Missions Preparation Course"

1) Register as a WLI student:

• People can register as WLI students and attend training conferences to receive training units for a WLI diploma. A normal 3 day conference, of approximately 15 hours of training is worth 4 Training Units (TU's) The amount of hours in a training event are flexible - example 7 hours of conference is worth 2 TU's. Related book reports can be done if the student wants to receive more credits, 1 TU for each normal sized book.

2) Attend any WLI Course or any of the 100's of Approved Conferences in North America:

• Any Conferences where one of the North American Faculty members are teaching is automatically approved - anywhere they teach in the world.  Find your favorite speakers in the "WLI Faculty" tab and visit their website to see when they are ministering close to you.
• The "Conferences" tab lists a few coming conferences that are WLI approved.  Contact us if you are wanting to attend a conference for Training Units and you don't see it on the list or you don't see a faculty member ministering at the conference and we can tell you if it will be approved or not. Or you can contact the host of the Conference and they can apply to have the Conference endorsed.

3) Hand in Self Evaluation Papers for the Training Event and related book reports:

When you fill out your Self Evaluation Paper, let us know:

• Title, Speaker, Date(s)
• How many hours you attended/listened/watched
• What you learned
• How it has helped you to become a better Christian and follower of Jesus.

4) Self Study from Previous Approved Conferences:

• Recordings of courses are available for most of the conferences for anyone who can't attend. The student could order the tapes from the host church and complete the WLI work and get 4 + 2 TU's towards an advanced diploma. The cost of attending the conference or ordering the tape sets, is above the costs of the training units given for the event.
  

It now costs $150 US to watch WLI courses online. Canadian Students will pay the $150 US to the WLI USA office, but then be able to register the Course with the WLI Canadian Office, by sending in the Self-Evaluation Papers and the remaining tuition of $50 CAD for 4 training units to the WLI office in Canada.

Each class is available for 4 or 6 training units. Four training units are awarded for completing the Self-Evaluation Paper. Two additional training units are earned if 500 pages of material related to the topic of the class are read.

If you want to attend any course in person, a Canadian WLI student can audit courses for only $150 US and then send in Self-Evaluation Papers and the remaining tuition of $50 CAD for 4 training units to be registered at the WLI office in Canada.

Most courses offered in Colorado will be LIVE Web Cast.
